All This Political Shit...

 ...has got me down in the dumps. Well, that and my infirmities. In the recent past, I have found myself sometimes wishing I was a younger man now and again when I meet an extremely enticingly fine looking woman who acts a bit more than merely distantly friendly toward me. Lately though, I have found myself wishing for my lost youthful vim for a very different reason. That would be because of the current political situation in these United States. I find what the left has been doing to be abhorrent as they openly attempt to destroy our rights & liberties under the Constitution and change our government to another form. They readily accept, with glee, the possibility that they will soon transform this country to a new nation under a new system (to us) such as socialism, fascism or communism or a combination of all three. In other words, they seek to create a tyrannical and oppressive government under which they will rule with an iron thumb. 

What loyal American, who has lived by the principles of justice as expressed within our founding legal document - the Declaration of Independence - and who lived by the basic principles of law and rights as set by our Constitution and Bill of Rights would not oppose such a change. The day is coming soon, I think, when an armed revolution will take place though I hope not, I feel it almost unavoidable. Just look at what the dems fear about the inauguration and at how the FBI is vetting national 25,000 Guard troops (source) for Biden's swearing in on January 20th because they fear a conspiracy to assure he will not become president. You do not do that unless you are fairly certain the threat is real. They fear & know (I think we all expect) it is coming - that it being a revolution - and they fear it greatly. What they seem to always ignore is that it will have been their actions that will have spurred it on.

It will not come from the left, almost as it seemed it would beginning last summer when BLM & ANTIFA types protested, then looted, rioted, committed arson, assaults and other crimes to include even homicide while declaring parts of cities to be autonomous zones - all as part of an evident insurrection. That uprising was in some cases actually openly supported by leftists (such as by Kamala Harris out VP elect and local mayors and lib state governors). No, it will not come from there. It will come from the right as evidenced by the attack on the Capital. And mind you, I can call what happened at the Capital nothing more or less than an attack (unplanned, as I believe it to have been for the most part, with most folks merely following others once it started). I believe though the next such actions will be much better planned & organized and will be much more violent.

I'd rather not see any of this happening right now or ever. I would much prefer that we all could live as Americans under the laws of our great nation as set down by our Founding Fathers and by the Framers of the Constitution & the Bill of Rights. Sadly though, forces that would see this nation transformed to a totalitarian state, by whatever means possible (such as the Russian Collusion investigation), will soon make living in our country under our Constitution & Bill of Rights - as free citizens and legal resident aliens - impossible; heck it already is impossible but is about to get much worse in my belief. Well maybe I should say, it will be at least very improbable without an uprising first putting down the forces that seeks to destroy the basis of our laws and transform us into a nation divided and ruled by an oppressive authoritarian form of government. 

I do not look forward to that day. If it comes down to an outright revolution to defend & preserve the Constitution & Bill of Rights - I hope to have balls of steel to do the right thing when the time arrives regardless of age or infirmity. I have always stood to defend the Constitution & Bill of Rights in the past and see no reason to stop now; I just hope the mess we are in can be resolved peacefully and that sanity and adherence to the Constitution & Bill of Rights will once again be the norm in the USA.

244 Years Later - Is It Time To Take Another Shot?

 


Today is the 244th anniversary of The Shot Heard Round The World (the commencement of the American Revolution at Lexington Green). Sometimes, I think it is high time for a second shot heard over the same expanse because of all of this socialistic, communistic, tyrannical oppression heaped upon our shoulders by the governors of many, but thankfully not all, our states and oft times by federal politicians. If that is not enough to trigger another such shot then I imagine we are doomed to wear the yoke of those who fawn for rule by tyrants and are enslaved by the false security they offer at the expense of our liberty. Liberty to exercise our right to overthrow tyrants, supported by our right to keep and bear arms, is the only thing that keeps us truly secure but we must exercise that liberty from time to time!

Leftists Are Insidious...

...and I believe they are here stirring the melting pot and trying to get it not just to boil over but to explode. Take for example the call for a March 8th strike by the woman of the USA. A massive and possibly militant strike is being planned against not only Republicans like President Donald Trump but against liberals as well (source). In other words - it is in essence a strike against all of us or in my opinion a call for anarchy and disruption with the ultimate intent of toppling the government.


According to this NY Post article, among the reported co-authors of the call are Angela Davis (reportedly a former member of the Communist Party USA - source), Tithi Bhattacharya (who reportedly has praised Maosim - source the same NY Post article) and Rasmea Yousef Odeh (a convicted terrorist who allegedly fraudulently gained U.S. citizenship - source).


A revolution in this country may be coming sooner than expected my friends - and I believe it may soon come to pass that these and others may attempt to overthrow our Constitutional Republic by any means possible, including violent ones. At the very least - I think we should expect them to make further attempts to destroy what unity there is among us and that they will, in my belief, almost undoubtedly resort to violent means in their continued attempts to do so. I think we need to be prepared to defend ourselves and our country by any legal means. Stay vigilant, stay safe and remain at the ready.

I Will Be On The Right Side - What About You?

Just read a very interesting and what quite possibly will amount to a prediction if Clinton is elected. It is in essence a warning to the left but I think it is also a good reminder to those who are not on that side as to what we may have to do to regain our Constitutional Republic if things come to the worst. Violent Revolution

Is now the time for violent revolution. I have to wonder about just how bad it was for our founding fathers when they decided that all hell needed to break loose. The principles upon which our nation was founded are being trashed one by one, by previous presidential administrations (Democrat & Republican) and apparently also by the current one, at least in my personal estimation. Our president seemingly wants to have a Supreme Court justice who empathises and who decides legal issues based upon emotion instead of upon our Constitution (the basis of all of our laws, the bedrock of our legal system, the foundation of our jurisprudence, the make up of our republic). Simply amazing. Of course, we are also rapidly becoming a socialist nation economically and politically, and we are facing a major fiscal collapse the likes of which we have not seen in decades and all the politicians seem to want to do is to raise taxes while the citizenry who actually work for a living will have no way to pay them. Our moral condition has become demoralized and abortion is considered ethical and in fact a preferred form of birth control by many, there are same sex marriages, and there are pedophiles who have raped children over and over again for years who then get minimal sentences. We are floundering on issues of national defense such as North Korea with the bomb, the two wars in which we are involved, our mission to wipe out terrorism, and securing our own borders to name a few. We are allowing our Constitutional rights to be whittled away such as the Right to keep and Bear Arms, the Right to Free Speech, and the Right to Worship as we please or not; but gosh darn it let's make sure that non-combatant prisoners of war, those terrorists at Gitmo, have more right than do U.S. Citizens while we decide to punish lawyers for giving a legal opinion that water boarding was not torture - all the while as we have a president who apparently was a personal friend of a terrorist and evidently who had a hate monger for a preacher! Doesn't this seem of kilter to you, it sure does to me - badly so!

So yes, I am wondering just what it is that will make people start to look at violent revolution as a viable form of saving our principles and a way of life that at one time in the not too distant past made the United States of America the greatest nation on the face of this earth. Does there need to be more fuel added to the fire, do we need more prodding by inept and corrupt politicians or is it that we who remember a better life are just too old and fat to care and our younger citizens do not have a clue about the likely consequences of the path we are currently taking. While I am not advocating it, I must say, I believe that violent revolution is drawing nearer and nearer if only because I cannot for the life of me fathom how our government will be able to keep the people pacified what with the potentially imminent destruction of all that for which our nation once stood. I think it is closer than any of us may imagine, maybe only a few or even only a couple of years off. I pray things get better before it comes to that. Yet, the pragmatic side of me just does not think that we will ever regain our freedoms, our integrity, our prosperity, our sense of justice and morality without a violent upheaval of some sort though I hope for those things to be regained peacefully. Am I off the mark or do you too see storm clouds on the horizon?

Liberal Tax and Spend Politicians...

...make me feel like vomiting sick to my stomach and light in the pocket book. This goes for liberal tax and spend Democrats like Charles Schumer, Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and their liberal tax and spend Republican counterparts like George W. Bush, when it comes to taxing us and spending our hard earned money.

This whole Magilla with the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) is absolutely preposterous, and as far as I can see the major part of the problem has been caused by Democrats in Congress. Thank you (major sarcasm alert) the likes of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, and all your other liberal cohorts (including fiscal RINO George W. Bush) who want to screw middle classed America. Even if they claim not to support the AMT, you have to wonder why they have not abolished it yet.

The alternative minimum tax was instituted in the late 1960s to reel in tax dollars from about 150 of America's richest families. It cuts out deductions and credits, and was designed to do this to the RICHEST of American taxpayers. Yet over the years it has not been adjusted for inflation. So the outcome has been that anyone TODAY who makes above whatever figure it was they said made you rich in 1969 has to pay the AMT on their income. Every year for years now (when Congress was controlled by Republicans) adjustments were made so as to prevent the AMT from screwing the middle class folks of America,. Yet last year 4 million taxpayers still had to pay the AMT. Get that, last year 4 MILLION people paid a tax meant to reign in 150 super rich families back in 1969.

Now this year, if no action is taken by Congress, it is estimated that as many as 25 Million taxpayers will have to pay the AMT, that would be an increase of 21 million people paying this tax in the course of just one year! Does anyone believe (and I include super liberal ultra donkeys in this question) that we have 26 million super-rich taxpayers in this country? What will happen if this is not corrected is that 22 million more middle class, and lower middle class, and maybe even fairly poor people will be hit with this tax; and all the democrats apparently want to do to take care of it is to make sure some other taxes are passed in order to insure that the expected revenue from 26 million people who would have to pay the AMT is somehow made up for. Don't they get it, we never paid those taxes before, but still they want to make up for them. Are they insane - yes I think so! What they should be doing is reducing taxes and reducing the government spending habits of themselves and guys like President Bush. Heavens help us, I don't think it will get better soon with jerks like them in office.

As I seem to remember, from my history classes as a youth, this country was in great part formed because of unhappiness over unfair taxation, and that unhappiness eventually led to something called the Declaration of Independence and a revolution. Are these absolute fools tax and spend politicians all that out of touch with history, and with the current feeling among the citizens of the United States of America to risk something like that today? I certainly hope not.

Less than a Half a Year From a Revolution...

...is one way to anticipate how the District of Columbia Circuit Court decision in Parker vs. the District of Columbia will effect 'We The People of the United States of America' regarding our right to keep and bear arms. The full U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC circuit refused to review the earlier case that affirmed said right is an individual's right. The next, and only legal, recourse remaining for the District of Colombia is to take the Parker case to the United States Supreme Court.

If this case goes to the Supreme Court, a ruling that the 2nd Amendment affords individuals the right to keep and bear arms would affirm that which law abiding gun owners and their advocates have been saying throughout our nation's history. If however, the Supreme Court decides that such right is reserved to the 'militias' of a each state, and therefore is a right not of the individual, the outcome could be horrendous for law abiding gun owners. Of course, the outcome could also be horrendous for our nation as a whole. To remove any right, found in our constitution, especially the right to keep and bear arms, from the individual citizen would be tantamount to removing them all since it is by said right that we as individuals retain the power to overthrow tyranny as did the founding fathers of our nation. They revolted for less than this, and it should be noted that 'the shot heard round the world' (the first shot of the Revolutionary War) was fired only when British troops tried to march on a colonial armory to remove the colonists firearms by force. Approximately 800 British soldiers were marching to Concord, MA, when about 70 (yes outnumbered by more than 10 - 1) Minutemen stood their ground at Lexington Green, MA. When this first battle was over, 8 of the colonists lay dead. Among the dead was the commander of the group; and as a twist of fate and coincidence would have it, his name was John Parker. The District of Columbia now has 90 days to appeal the ruling of the court. It is ironic that they have been a member of this law suit if only because DC is our nation's capital, and one would think therefore that it would be the protector of our rights when it is just the opposite as regarding the repressive anti-gun laws they have enacted. It is also ironic that DC is involved in this suit in so much as DC wishes to fight crime, and it claims that the anti-gun laws they have on the books are absolutely necessary to thwart violent crime in said city. The facts is, with those same laws in place, DC has recurrently had one of the highest violent crime rates in our country.

With 90 days left to DC to file an appeal, I am guessing that another 90 days, at most, would be what was needed for the Supreme Court to decide the issue and either put it to rest, or put it to the torch. I dare even imagine it possible that they would decide against the 2nd Amendment being a right of the individual, but should they do so it could eventually lead to an armed revolt like the one that commenced on April 19, 1775 with 'the shot heard round the world'. I hope and pray that it works out differently. This right is a right of 'the people', as are the others so enunciated; and with regard to all the others that specifically say a right is that of "the people" they have each been interpreted to mean that the right is that of each individual person, not of a state or the federal government. So should it remain with the 2nd Amendment, that it too is a right of the individual. Let us hope the Supreme Court, if brought to task on this issue, and should they accept to review it, decides such to be the case, otherwise there may yet be another 'shot heard round rhe world'.
