They Say Hope Springs Eternal...

 ...but in my case, while I never gave up hope, it has been 'hope revitalized'. Just last week, in fact only a few days ago, I wondered to myself what ever happened to the grand jury investigation spearheaded by special prosecutor John Durham in which Durham is trying to discover if their in essence was a conspiracy against Donald Trump that was orchestrated by democrats including Hillary Clinton. What brought his investigation to my mind was the fact that Fox News was reporting that Hillary Clinton was about to make a major speech and some said it might be that she would be announcing her candidacy for the next presidential election. I had mostly forgotten the Durham investigation and when I thought of it last week, I wondered what had happened to it and believed maybe it had just quietly disappeared as such things often do when influenced by the world of politics and bribes (not alleging any wrong doing in this case).

 

Well, there I as left wondering, that is until today. It appears the Durham grand jury investigation is being run by him as the law demands it must be run - in secrecy. That is a good thing. It also appears as if the investigation may have uncovered a good amount of additional evidence and additional suspects and defendants as well. More at the source. 

 

I, for one, am again hopeful that this investigation will be carried out to its legitimate end and that said end result will be that anyone - who winds up being found guilty of conspiracy against Donald Trump, or who otherwise violated the laws of the United States relative to his candidacy, his election and then presidency - who was in Hillary Clinton's campaign (or who supported it) and who acted illegally (if proven so) in that regard will be convicted of any and all crimes of which they may be charged due to this investigation. It would truly bring a smile to my face to see her and many others from her campaign in prison for a long long time if in fact they are guilty of any such crimes. If not then let the evidence prove otherwise but my guess is they are as guilty as sin.

RBG: One Tough Old Coot But A Biased Leftist

Well, she is gone. While I can wish that RBG rests in peace, especially after her long and courageous battle against cancer I cannot sing her praises - there are few if any. I will say though, she was one tough old coot! 

As for her time with SCOTUS, as far as I am concerned, she and her extremely left biased decisions, while on the bench, helped turn much of our country into what it has become over the past several months - a leftist third world shithole and it was already more than bad enough due to her love of all things leftist. She not only sowed the seeds, she nurtured the vines and now the rest of us are stuck with the spoiled fruits of her all too often biased leftist agenda.

244 Years Later - Is It Time To Take Another Shot?

 


Today is the 244th anniversary of The Shot Heard Round The World (the commencement of the American Revolution at Lexington Green). Sometimes, I think it is high time for a second shot heard over the same expanse because of all of this socialistic, communistic, tyrannical oppression heaped upon our shoulders by the governors of many, but thankfully not all, our states and oft times by federal politicians. If that is not enough to trigger another such shot then I imagine we are doomed to wear the yoke of those who fawn for rule by tyrants and are enslaved by the false security they offer at the expense of our liberty. Liberty to exercise our right to overthrow tyrants, supported by our right to keep and bear arms, is the only thing that keeps us truly secure but we must exercise that liberty from time to time!

The Ultimate Progressive - Destroying The Status Quo Of The Progressives

If you discussed politics right after the last major federal primaries and through the last federal general election in November 2018, you probably did some talking about NY's Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who was elected to the House of Representatives. Since then she has become almost daily news for her outspoken demeanor on just about every political from so call Climate Change (aka: Global Warming) to her quest to oust several incumbent democrats from her own party because she apparently believes them to be less than progressive enough. She is a ballsy bitch so to speak and has been relentless in her opposition to President Trump and seemingly so toward anyone with who she has an ideological disagreement such as House Speak Nancy Pelosi of her own party. Right now she is leading the charge against incumbent democrats in an effort to have them ousted and replaced by those more in line with her own views (source) and thus she is gaining power as she steamrolls her once upon a time allies. Where to from there if she is successful - maybe the White House itself. Think that last is not possible - you are thinking just like those who thought she did not stand a chance of winning the democrat primary let alone the election.

She is backed by another ideologue, Saikat Chakrabarti, whom she supposedly chose to be her chief of staff; although, I have often wondered if he was he who chose her to manipulate to his own ends. His philosophy of advancing progressiveness, echoes or maybe guides her's, and is evidenced here: 

"It’s all part of a broader strategy to deploy inside-out organizing, Chakrabarti said. Staying connected to the progressive movement — and the public eye — through attention-grabbing demonstrations and social media is part of gaining policy leverage.
In other words: Don’t expect them to back down.

“When you shoot for big stuff, you stay true to the movement, you fight unapologetically on the inside, that is a very, very powerful way to pass the radical solutions that are necessary to face the radical problems that you have,” he said." (Source.)

His major political success seemingly has been the election of Ocasio-Cortez and the ousting of the incumbent democrat she faced down in the primaries. He has a lot of progressive goals and his puppet Ocasio-Cortez is riding high on his agenda. That is not to say it is also her own agenda as well but I think one can safely bet, with a record like Chakrabarti's, he is fanning those flames of ultra progressiveness within her. 

They are the dynamic duo of the progressive movement. While many laughed, still laugh at Ocasio-GuevaraCortez and think her a fool, I think they are individually both dangerous and much more so when aligned with one another. She is the type of leader the current crop of leftist loons find not only as acceptable but as an outstanding specimen of progressive political correctness despite her apparently being fairly clueless when it comes to fact versus fantasy on many current issues and events as well as on historical ones. When you think about it - that has been the hallmark of nearly every tyrant who has ever lived from petty ones all the way up through and including the most heinous and vicious. Her type scares me and should scare you. Mind you, being scared is good, it keeps you on your toes and more likely to act than being comfortably wrapped up in the status quo. Bear in mind the reasons to be concerned is that should she be successful in ousting long time democrat whackadoos from her own party then the next will be those on the other side of the aisle and if she becomes powerful enough the Constitution may follow. Who knows what would follow!

I Almost Signed Up On Facebook Again...

...and believe me it was tempting - if only because I wanted to see the reactions to the failed anti-Kavanaugh fiasco staged by the democrats. I was able to resist the temptation; although, it was tough. Really though, I would have liked to have seen how much some arsehats there were gnashing their teeth, pulling out their own hair and vowing to have him impeached because to them - now he is a rapist. God, the loons on the left have just about totally lost it. One has to wonder if they will grow some balls and try for a violent revolution soon, they sure are crazy enough.

Before Opening His Mouth - Did He Stop To Think

This is my opinion about the foul mouthed anti-Trump rant, by an over the hill actor, that took place last night. Yes, I am referring to the rant by Robert De Niro.

 

Today, President Trump was in Singapore doing what no other U.S. President has ever done - preparing for a meeting with the leader of North Korea to try to make peace with North Korea and to try to denuclearize that rogue nation. Last night, a leftist, vile, foul, blabbermouth of a pompous ignoramus (my opinion of him) got up in front of his Hollyweird peers and reportedly threw his two fists in the air after screaming F---Trump. He evidently did so in his usual wanna be tough guy manner (yes he apparently likes to believe he is tough like his movie characters but I think he is really a wussy) seemingly to try to impress others of his own leftist political ilk.

 

President Trump has been trying to do something that would be of great importance and great benefit not only to the USA but to the world, and that foul mouthed actor figured he would try to do what - did he hope to upset the president, did he hope to throw him off his game while in negotiations with Kim Jong Un, did he hope that if President Trump fails he can then rant and rage even louder against our president (and yes no matter if you like him or don't like him he is our president). Or was it something else - was it just a crybaby spoiled POS of an actor trying to make himself look and feel big because President Trump intimidates him.

 

Did he think for a minute that the President of The United States of America might actually not need any added stress that his foul mouthed rant may have caused. Did he stop for a moment to think that should the President get distracted by that disgusting tirade he might be put off enough to cause him to fail at his current task and that the end result could be a nuclear war with millions dead??? Before he opened his vile besmirching piehole - DID HE THINK AT ALL of what might be the consequences of his seemingly maniacal monologue? Oh why do I even ask because it is obvious, to me, that if he did think all he thought of was satisfying his own feelings of hatred. In my estimation he is not even worthy of being called a has been actor - he is little more that a disgusting asshole.

 

Anyway, I thank him with all of my heart for having done so because I am sure that when it comes time to vote, Americans will not forget the extremist hateful assholes of the left like him and America will resoundingly vote right. Lest I forget, allow me to also thank all the arsehats in the audience who wildly applauded De Niro's vicious vitriol - they probably put the icing on the cake as far as the right winning the next election goes.

A Day Of Fasting...

...is not something I do very often; but I did it today. No solid food at all since about 10PM last night, so I am just passed 24 hours now. I have had 2 glasses of apple juice, a glass or two of water, and two cups of green tea, but that has been it besides some Movi-Prep. Now despite what it may sound like to a connoisseur of old films, Movie-Prep is not something you eat while getting in the mood for the movies, although I guess a video might be made because I used it. You see it helps clear out a certain bodily area, and the video would be made by my gastroenterologist while doing my colonoscopy tomorrow. Pretty much just a check-up sort of thing, and I do not want to dwell on that subject all that much.

What I do want to talk about is the fasting thing. It has always amazed me that people fast for various reasons be they for: weight loss, religion, political statement making, because they are nuts, or whatever. It amazes me even more that it is pretty easy to do - especially for me, but only under certain conditions like the upcoming test tomorrow! It simply has befuddled me, now for the fourth time in my life (once before for a similar test, and twice before for operations), that I can just turn off eating like that. Yet, I am at least 50 pounds overweight at about 218 lbs and 5'11". Why can't I just turn off the desire to eat, or at least turn off the desire to eat junk food more often? If I knew the answer to that, then I might be able to either fast once a week, or at least cut back on the junk food, and really lose some weight.

Today though, yes this day in particular made this all the harder for me to understand. If you like Thanksgiving spreads, with almost all the fixings, and love the smell of roasting turkey, then maybe you can understand what I mean when I say: 'The relative ease at which I avoided food today was mind boggling'. You see, today my wife decided to cook a fresh turkey. Yes of all days, she chose today when I had to fast. Does that mean she hates me even more than I had thought. Well maybe so, and maybe not. She was almost as surprised as me to find out I could avoid eating any of it. Apparently, I had forgotten to tell her about the test tomorrow, and my need to fast today. The smell of that roasting turkey was about the only thing that really made it at all tough, just a bit though, for me to hold off on eating today. Well the smell of it roasting, and then me actually carving it for everyone else. I cannot explain it, I may never understand it, but if I could turn on the appetite suppressant and turn off the appetite, like I did today, at least once weekly, well - I would be a slimmer guy.

Of course I would make certain never to turn on the appetite suppressant when there was a turkey roasting in the oven, and I can assure you that the leftovers will be severely depleted once I get to them tomorrow; but I still wish I could figure out how to do this fasting thing more often - without extremist religion, without making a political statement, without becoming more of a nut job than I am already, just doing it by will power I guess. I had it today, that is will power, now how do I exhibit it on a weekly or daily basis when it comes to junk food and overeating in general???

Please, if you know the answer to my conundrum, don't tell me until after about 3PM EST tomorrow. I want to pig out on the turkey leftovers before I find out.
