Light Blogging...

...will probably be the thing for me for the next couple of day. I have been online now, only about an hour and a half, wrighting one short rant, checking my email, sending out a few emails, and visiting a few select sites, and I am exhausted. Imagine becoming exhausted by that, and of course by my two runs to the throne in the basement, in that short a time. Oh well, once I am feeling better I will be back at it as usual.

All the best,

Should I be looking for a new Doctor?

My apology for not blogging lately, but my health has not allowed me to be up to it. I had bronchitis a few weeks back, that lasted over 2 weeks. Then earlier this week at work I was feeling really tired each day, barely keeping my eyes open so to speak. I blogged on Wednesday night after work, but was feeling none too well. Then very late on Wednesday night I had a fever again, a bad headache, neck pains, aches all over specially in my joints, a bit of pain when breathing in, and felt slightly nauseous, this was some surprise. All the same symptoms I had a few weeks before except I was not congested and coughing up phlegm. So I saw the doc (a stand in for my regular doc who was not in that day) on Thursday who told me this had nothing to do with the bronchitis, and it was likely a virus. Well on Thursday night I found myself getting plenty of exercise although I sure did not feel like doing it. I figure I ran to the can about 25 times between 8PM and 8AM. On Friday I was a marathon runner with another 46 trips to the throne room. I figured I was dying of dysentery, so I called my doctor's office, told them how much sicker I had gotten, and the lady told me that my doc had said only for me to call back on Monday if I still felt bad, and then I could come in for more blood tests. Heck I forgot to ask about the blood test they took on Thursday. I hung up and fell asleep. I called the doc's office again hours later - when I woke up again - and I asked about the test results, and I was told 'sorry the blood test results were not yet in'. Imagine that they knew earlier in the day that I needed additional blood work and the initial test results were not in yet.

Feeling somewhat better today, as can be witnessed by me being online at all, but I still feel like expletive deleted (I won't say it but you can guess). Oh well, I am feeling better, but I wish I was feeling well. I guess time will play the healer since my doctors certainly have not been doing too good at it.

All the best,
Glenn B
