First Time Purchase From Ammoman.com...

...was one I just made for my son. He wanted 1,000 rounds of 7.62x39 for his Bulgarian AK47, the one he just bought a few weeks back. He needs ammo to give it a good testing out. I tried ordering from Sportsmansguide.com, where they had the best prices I could find, but they were all out. Then I tried CheaperThanDirt.com, but price was up there and I am not sure they had 1,000 rounds of Wolf 7.62x39 122 gr.HP ammo in stock. I tried CenterfireSystems.com, but I think they were on back order or could not back order it. I looked to Natchez Shooters' Supplies but they were also out of it. Then I tried AIM Surplus, I did not get passed their home page where they explained they have a 3 -4 week long shipping delay - hmm, maybe if business is that good for them they ought to hire another worker or two to help our economy, at least temps anyhow. J&G Sales was also running at least a couple of weeks behind on filling orders according to their homepage. They too ought to think about hiring some temp help at the least; I mean business must be good if they are that overloaded with orders that it is taking them weeks to fill an order. I tired a few other places with similar results, either out or out and on back order. I would have also tried SAMCO, but they still have not addressed a return I want to make on a Yugo SKS I bought from them, advertised as in New Condition, and received in damaged and repaired condition!
Then I tried Ammoman.com. They had, it, and it cost about $25 more than it would have at Sortsmansguide.com, but I went for it, especially since Brendan was paying and he had said to just do it. The turnaround, from the time I ordered it until we received it two days ago was only 4 days. Not bad at all. It arrived in good condition via UPS, and was exactly what we ordered. It was painless, and went well, what more can I say about an order that went so well. I can say I will use them again in the future when they are a source of ammo I cannot find elsewhere at a less expensive price. If their prices were a bit more competitive I would look to them first. Yeah I know they offer free shipping and all, but I still usually get it less expensively at Sportsmansguide.com. even when they charge for shipping. Still though a good source to look to when you need some ammo for military type rifles which seems to be primarily what they sell.

All the best,
Glenn B
