Robbing The Wrong Place At The Wrong Time...

...or was it the right place at the perfect time? Yeah, that's it - the second one!  ;>)

A robber enters a convenience type store, draws his gun and is almost immediately confronted by three of the four customers who were present and armed. He drops his weapon after what looks like to me the guy in the dark shirt whacking it with his left elbow (watch closely for his elbow to dip), bends over to retrieve it and when he comes up is almost immediately shot by at least one of the three armed patrons. Sometimes it just works out right for the good guys! This reportedly happened in Brazil.



I am wondering about the guy who ran out the door. Was he just an unarmed civilian type who made the smartest move possible under the circumstances or was he an accomplice or better yet, was he an informant who set up the armed bad guy?

I wonder about the three armed customers too. Were they cops ?assigned to something like the NYPD Stakeout Squad of yesteryear? I am betting they were cops and the guy who ran out either an accomplice or an informant. The guy in the black shirt and other guy to the viewers right (who also puled a gun) were aimlessly milling about, the guy in dark shirt even looked out the door as if waiting for it. Then he makes that move to disarm the bad guy with his elbow (or so it looked to me). Other guy who bought something and took forever to draw, a cop who should be retired already or on a desk job. Of course that is all just conjecture on my part.

Feminism At Its Best - Really

This is an uplifting video. It is nice to see that a Muslim group  of women can do what feminists here in the United States say they have been doing for years - fighting for women's rights. Feminists here don't have a clue about really fighting for rights. As my friend Charlie F in essence said, you don't see any women from this country flocking to fight against ISIS with the Kurds.



The shame about it all though is that after ISIS is annihilated (and I believe it will have to come to that to stop them), the Kurds will probably turn against us as all too often seems to be the case with Muslim groups with which we have allied ourselves over the years.

California - Lawless Politics Run Amok?

Politicians have seemingly forgotten that the law applies to them in California by reportedly neglecting to post bills on-line at least 72 hours before passage. California, in essence, is a state run by politicians without regard for any law except, seemingly, those that rule against many conservative or libertarian values. Its politicians apparently do not care whether or not they violate the law because just as leftists all over the world consider themselves, those in CA evidently consider themselves to be above the law. Besides that, they seem to think that illegal aliens are above the law as well and are attempting to "...repeal a law making it a crime to use fake documents to conceal citizenship status." I guess the truly sad thing is that it seems it is not only happening (that leftist mentality taking over whereby politicians think themselves above the law) in California but also in states like NY, MA, CT, IL and elsewhere.

The Gun Show Haul

My son went to a gun show this past weekend, somewhere down IN AR. He didn't buy any guns but did pick up a few other things, a nice little haul if you ask me:

He spent a lot of yesterday trying to clean out the drum magazine of whatever they had coated it. We had thought it was Cosmoline but  am now doubtful because putting it into an oven at up to 210 degrees for well over a half hour did not have any of it met off. He wound up putting it in a broiler pan full of boiling water with some Dawn dishwashing detergent added and said that did the trick. Then rinsed it, patted it dry as he could do and put it back in the oven to dry quickly and completely.

He said it holds 75 rounds of 7.62x39mm ammo and is for his AK. I am thinking he is going to have a lot of fun at the range with it - that is if it is not a pain in the arse to reload. As for the other things in the pic, the mag is for his Glock 43 along with the Pearce extension for it. At first I thought the two jars were moonshine but closer examination showed them to be otherwise. Had me thinking that AR had some really excellent rules about gun shows for a moment there. Knife looks cool, don't know if it is practical. I am guessing the blade is obsidian.

All in all he did well. Now that he is in a much freer state than NY, buy what gun accessories he wants and he can enjoy shooting the way one should be able to enjoy it. Makes me just a wee bit envious.

Not A Bad Dinner At All...

...even if I must say so myself.

A nicely marbled and very thick NY Strip Steak that I seared perfectly with crispy fat around the edges and the inside coked perfectly to a bloody delight, a big salad of just Romaine lettuce and radishes with Ken's Italian dressing (already devoured by the time I took the photo), Utz Salt'n Vinegar Potato Chips, Whalen's Horseradish & Garlic Pickles (almost to die for, they are that delectable), some Macadamia Nuts for dessert (hidden behind the chips) and a couple of glasses of lemonade sans alcohol for a change.

Man oh man I loved it. Still have about half that steak leftover for tomorrow's breakfadt or lunch.

Kathy Griffin Will Never Be As Good At It As Is Hillary Clinton

To have said that Donald Trump broke her and a bunch of old white guys are trying to silence her as an apparent way of getting people to ease up their criticisms of her for holding up a seemingly bloodied head of our president is though beyond the scope of how badly most leftists and liberals blame the other guy and shirk responsibility for their own transgressions and faults. Source.

 

Yet, as hard as she evidently tries to blame someone else for what she did or for being the cause of what she did - the plain and simple truth is that she did it and it was at the very least repulsive if not criminal as well. It is much the same as with Hillary Clinton outright blaming her loss in the presidential election on just about everyone imaginable, and some not imaginable. I think though that Griffin will never attain the mastery that Clinton has achieved in blaming the other guy - she, to me, is the all time master of it.

Do You Hear That Noise?

Sometimes my timing is impeccable. It was that way this afternoon when I arrived home maybe a an hour or so ago. I made something to eat and went down to the basement and turned on One America News Network. That had to have been very shortly after President Donald Trump had commenced his speech about the United States of America dropping out of the Paris Climate Accord so I got to hear virtually all of it that mattered. As he was speaking, I began to realize that there was another noise I was hearing other than his speech and the applause it was receiving and other than any background noise in and around my home. It got louder and louder as the Donald rolled along slamming the Paris Climate Accord and telling us how dropping out of it will benefit the US of A. It took me awhile to realize thee was no single source for the noise but rather that it had many sources and that essentially the same sound was emanating from millions of sources and it was rising to a crescendo. Yet, despite it getting stronger and stronger, the voice of our president telling us excellent news for our economy, and the resounding applause he was receiving, kept the other sound to merely a mildly annoying background chattering.

No that is not right, it was not exactly chattering but it was close. The noise was not chatter but it was vocal of a sort. What it was, and it still persists (don't you hear it - I can hear it still) was the gnashing of teeth of the leftists throughout the world and within our own country who no doubt cannot bear the news that President Trump has freed us from what amounted to another way to rape our resources and our economy and give our wealth to the rest of the world without other wealthy countries contributing their fair share. How was it that Hillary Clinton would likely say what I just said - it was the redistribution of wealth. Hell was it not seemingly one of her main desires - to bring down our economy by redistributing our wealth? My guess is she went into convulsions along with our previous president (who got us into the Paris Climate Accord in the first place). I am sure we will hear from them before the day is done but they may need to rub some tequila over there aching teeth first (gnashing tends to make your teeth hurt).

Somehow, that noise was not very annoying. In fact, I found it quite comforting and must say that it was a nice noise as compared to the moaning and groaning that I am sure will follow it, all coming out of the mouths of foreign politicians, liberal leftists, democrat politicians, greenies, other phony environmentalists, Global Warming To Climate Change hypocrites, hippies, Occupy This Or That types, special interest groups, the main stream media, and RINOs (who always say they are of a conservative or libertarian ilk but who always prove themselves to be otherwise).

Enjoy it while it lasts. I am almost certain that some ultra leftist activist judge will try to derail the pull-out by saying it is unconstitutional. Yet, for the life of me, I cannot figure how such a deal was constitutional in the first place. Think the Welfare Clause that the dems always push in our faces and push it right back at em.

I am ever so happy about my perfect timing today, I not only got to hear the great news right out of the president's mouth but also got to hear that wonderfully woeful music made by the left because it means things are going good for America once again.

Anyone Out There Owe Me Money?

I just about keeled over when I saw my credit card bills for this month after my 3 week road trip including a gun show, motels, gas, food stops, groceries, restaurants with my son and so on. I am going to be broke for months unless some of the guns I have up for sale actually get sold.

I'd Been Searching Hard For It...

...and finally gave up figuring I must have sold it and forgotten about the sale.



Had this for many a year and wondered where it had gotten off to.

Then, when I was visiting my son in Arkansas earlier this month, I happened to mention it. He walked into his bedroom and came out with it in his hands. Guess he swiped it from me I had given it to him as a gift and forgot all about it. Anyway he gave it back to me and it is home with me now.

Now all I have to do is to remember to put it on my synthetic stocked 870.
