One Down - Proably Millions More To Go

Omce piece of muderous shit has died in jail and I for one would be okay with seeing every other person convicted of intentionally & illegally killing or maiming another drop dead by tomorrow. That is my opinion, plain & simple. More at the source.

Liberal Woman Laments: It's Hard To Find A Masculine Male Who Is Not A Conservative!

Well, about all I have to say to her is - No Shit Sherlock!

What she wants but cannot find, or is difficult for her to find, in a liberal male is:

“A man who wants to pay on the first date; who wants to open your door; who has that want and desire to take care of you and provide — who is not a conservative.” Of course she evidently is talking about trying to find a liberal male who will do all that for a liberal female like herself. More at the source.

Well, maybe it's because so many liberal males nowadays are prone to playing the skin flute! That's just a thought that went through my mind as I was typing. Another thought is, if she wants a guy like that, maybe she should become a conservative; after all, she is desirous of a male who has conservative traits. Then again, maybe she has been fooling herself - heck maybe she is just confused - and really is conservative deep down inside. I mean why would she want those traits in her guy if not so!

A New Gadget/Link List Added To My Blog

The latest addition to my blog is YOUTUBE FAVORITES. It appears just above the first of my several blog rolls on the right side of my page in "The Red Zone" (by name not color). I am kind of partial to the guy whose channel is the first I have added (note they will not appear in the order added but alphabetically or at least they should appear that way). You probably can figure out why I am partial to his channel since all I will say right now about him is that he is a chip off the old block. His YouTube channel is:

He has three videos right now but I am pretty sure he will add more fairly soon. Speaking of adding more videos, I should probably link my YouTube channel and add some to it; it has been way to long since I've added any, especially ones about guns & ammo. Mine is simple titled Glenn B. It is at:

Gun Show Deals

Went to the gun show in Conway, AR today. A guy waiting on line near me asked the guy in front of us what he wanted for Glock 43 with a robin's egg blue frame and what looked like a stainless slide. It came in the case with all accessories and papers and looked to be in excellent condition. The guy asked $350, the other guy offered $300, the guy with the pistol accepted immediately. Less than 5 minutes later, I saw the guy who bought that pistol sell it for a very nice $100 profit - to a dealer. I was right behind him as I went in and saw a dealer stop him right away to ask if he was selling it - so I watched. You cannot beat a deal like that by much - a 25% cash profit in a few minutes is excellent!

I also saw guy (you can figure out who in my next post) buy 1,200 rounds of crated 7.62x39mm steel cased ammo for about half of what it usually sells for nowadays, he paid $300.00 for the 1,200 rds. That works out to 25 cents per round! The least expensive amount for the same caliber of steel cased ammo on Ammoseek (as I type) is 36.6 cents per round with a very high shipping cost that would make it much more per round (and of course there was no shipping or tax on this stuff at the gun show). It was almost definitely Norinco ammo judging by the case. I have seen other such wooden cases before that were exactly the same construction, those were all made by Norinco; I have never seen a case like those manufactured by anyone else. Norinco ammo was banned by Clinton in the 1990s - it usually brings a premium from collectors or just from fools folks who are impressed and willing to pay more because it was banned.  That was one of the best ammo deals I have seen in a long while regardless of what brand. The guy  bought the ammo from a show attendee (not one of the dealers) who was walking around with a cart full of ammo he was trying to sell. The guy who bought was in the right place at the right time and jumped right on it - he should be proud of his deal finding skills.

I wish I had seen the pistol being sold before the other guy saw it - timing is everything.

Me, I sold a revolver, I did not buy a thing (corrected to say the following) and yes I did buy something - three 1911 mags marked Colt; although, I am 99.9% certain they are knockoffs being they were 3 or $25.00. As for my revolver, the dealer who bought it paid me $25.00 less than I wanted but that was okay by me, I needed the money. He got a great deal and I lost money on that gun. The thing is, any attendee who would have bought it could have had the same great deal but now someone will pay through their arse if buying it because a dealer will be selling it and you can bet the dealer will add at least 25% if not more to his selling price. I plan to go back tomorrow and will see if he offers it on his table and for what price.

I could not believe some of the prices there today - I thought a dealer asking $800.00 for a takedown Ruger 10/22 was bad. That was until, and I kid you not, one dealer was selling a regular 10/22 with a price tag of $1,000.00. I mean come on - that was plain crazy!!! You'd have to be an outright idiot to buy it, well to buy either one as I see it. Of course there were the $750.00+ Mosin Nagant 91/30 rifles as well and plenty of other overpriced guns & ammo - but the deals were there. You just had to know how to find them and jump om them ASAP. Speaking of idiots, my son saw a guy badly admonishing another guy he was with for having paid way too much for an AR pistol that looked hoopty (one of my son's favorite words that he applies to anything old & in crappy condition).

I probably am going back to the same show tomorrow and am going to watch the line - the line of folks outside of the show to see what they bring to sell. That should be a much better form of linewatch than the linewatch I used to do in the Border Patrol. Watching for & grabbing some good gun deals has got be more enjoyable for me than grabbing a bunch of illegal aliens.

Now truly, I don't know why folks on a Gun Forum I use often bitch & moan that you cannot find good deals at a gun show. Maybe you cannot find them from a dealer at his table but you certainly can sometimes find them from attendees who bring guns & ammo with them to sell at the shows and you do not even have to pay the entry fee if you just wait next to the line outside. Maybe I am giving away a great secret, to find some great deals, but maybe that's just because I am an idiot a nice guy now and again!

A 13 Year Old Hero & A Million Dollar Story?

If you have not heard about it yet, read the story at Fox News about the four children who survived 40 days in the Colombian jungle after surviving a plane crash that killed all three adults onboard. Somehow the children survived and survived for 40 days to finally be found by rescuers. That they were found alive may be even more amazing than the fact that the survived - who has ever heard of any authorities continuing a search & rescue operation for 40 days! More at the source.

Something tells me that the 13 year old will be hailed as a hero, maybe the nine year old too, but my guess, and it is just a guess, is that the 13 year old had the wits about her to have saved them all.

While I suggest reading the story, let me say first, there is not much info in it yet. I hope they follow-up on it here in the American media, I'd like to know how they did it considering that an 11 month old baby was among the four and remember all four survived. It boggles the mind how they did it but so far the authorities in Colombia have evidently said that some of the reasons is that they are indigenous to that are of Colombia and knew which plants they could eat to survive. I am sure that sooner or later a book or a movie will be made about their ordeal. Of course, whatever they get from that will not make up for the loss of their mom in the crash.

So I Am Laying Here In A Hospital Bed...

...after surgery to essentially ream out my prostate gland and my urethra although the doc said he shaved them and called it Turp with a Loop. No cancer but it was almost 3X normal size and getting up to pee anywhere from 1 to 15 times a night was getting to be way too much with arthritis pain in many joints but mostly my right hip and right shoulder  and a totally dry mouth, a result of radiation treatments for throat cancer in 2011. I figure not having to get out of bed to pee so any times will help a lot with me getting better sleep. I can sleep through the pains by changing position or taking oxy and aspirin and I keep a bottle of water in the bed for small sips for the dry mouth.

Last night and tonight, I finished reading one of the best books I have ever read. Not a literary masterpiece in writing style but a damned excellent adventure story. The thing is, I had two or three other books by the same author and left them in a book share box outside my local dog park a month or two ago. Now I wish I had kept them until at least I had read them.

Somehow, I kept the one I just completed. I had read only 26 pages before I got to the hospital. Last night I read a few to several more pages but was so groggy from fentanyl, oxycodone and two other dopes, I think one was dilaudid and the other I have no clue. So, i had to quit at maybe page 35 at most as I kept nodding off. Today I finished it, a short book of I think 131 pages total.

As I said, it is definitely not a literary masterpiece but was a could not put down nonstop adventure, thrilling for a lot of it, and was about a man in the mid 1870s western US. The author was Louis Lamour and the title Sackett. I was an idiot to have gotten rid of those other novels of his!

Luckily - maybe - I think I know who has the other ones and I am going to ask him to give them back to me to read and if he still wants them I will return them to him. Time will tell.

While I am supposedly going to be discharged tomorrow, I have started passing more blood after some pain in my groin kicked in tonight despite taking a good deal of painkillers yesterday and  today. It is also the first time the surgery site has hurt. Am I really going home, well to my son's home, tomorrow? Again, time will tell.

If I have to stay longer, I hope my son can bring me a spy novel by John LeCarre that I left at his place thinking that Sackett would take me longer to read. I read 10 to at most 30 pages of a book then put it down and read more a day or a few days to two weeks or maybe a month later. Sackett, I could not put down today until I had finished it. If you like westerns or adventure books, read it.

Ballseye Remembers When...

...as a married adult, I could buy a brick of decent 22 LR ammo at under 2¢ per round; I got it less expensive than that in my adult years before marriage but cannot recall the price then.

To my amazement, I was at a gun show (of all places) in Yonkers NY or White Plains in the mid to late 1990s, NY when I found bricks of CCI Blazer 22 LR ammo for sale @ $9.00 per brick - making it .018¢ per round. At that time, prices had recently increased and bricks of 22 LR were going for at least $12.00 to $15.00 at similar shows. I think that was the first time I bought, let along had heard of, CCI Blazer ammo. I was impressed enough with it to buy more over the years. It went bang like 99.9% of the time with only rare failures to fire, was pretty accurate in most of my 22s, was inexpensive & plentiful and those attributes made up for the fact it was and remains one of the dirtiest 22 LR rounds I have ever fired.

Those days are long gone but 22 LR ammunition is still one of the best buys in the world of ammo purchases as you can find it widely available at, or a bit under, 6¢ per round and even can find it from several dealers at 5¢ per round.

The Normalization of Pedophilia - It Can Be Stopped

I believe: that pedophiles - a group which has for years been silently infiltrating society and becoming a bit bolder as each year passes and who have been getting jobs as: medical practitioners, educators, clergy, politicians, home maintenance employment (plumbers, electricians, carpenters etc.), law enforcement, retailers and just about any other position you can think of where they come in fairly frequent contact with children - have become emboldened by the apparent acceptance of other weirdos by liberals/leftists/democrats on the whole. It is becoming evident that they now feel a certain amount of liberty to come out with actions that they believe will help to ease pedophilia into being, if not outright acceptable - then tolerable to other folks including those of the conservative ilk sooner or later.

If you don't see that as happening, think of queer bashing (I am in no way making an endorsement of physical queer bashing just stating what I believe is factual). It for the most part is a thing of the long gone past both in its physical & philosophical forms, and those on the right mostly tolerate (to some fair extent) queers, lesbians, gays or whatever word salad they want to call themselves today. They used the oft used methods of the communists to get to where they are today, tolerated at least to a fair extent if not outight accepted by most people in the USA.

Slowly infusing their lifestyle into society seemingly is how communists and other leftists work to instill their belief systems into a society that they are obviously incapable of taking over by force (such as the USA). It ostensibly is no different for how pedophiles seem to be trying to find tolerance for what amounts to their disgusting, immoral and illegal perversions. So, now that the so called LGBTuvwyz and such are mostly tolerated and since the latest transgender self mutilation by proxy lifestyle insanity is also seemingly becoming acceptable to liberals (maybe even preferable to many of the left), I think the pedophiles see themselves as the next group to succeed in at least becoming tolerated if not actually legitimized under the law. In effect, they evidently push sexual instruction onto young children in schools. This is as their allies in the groups mentioned above give them their support and spew forth support forth what I can only see as truly mind boggling mentally ill behavior. That would be behaviors such as teaching children they can become another gender either mentally (through brainwashing in secret meetings at school or elsewhere) or physically (through surgery) and then have the audacity to put on female impersonator shows for school aged kids in the hopes that children will choose to have themselves surgically mutilated. To what end!

I think, what they hope for in the end is to be allowed to freely engage in sexual conduct with children without fear of reprisal and that right now they see the opportunity to be able to do so materializing soon because all this other, in my opinion, mentally ill behavior has been accepted by those I think are liberal psychos who freely support others like themselves in their quest to destroy conservatism and free will. The pedophiles also see that all too many on the right (and independents) do little to nothing to prevent it. Not only are they and their allies pushing to teach our children that this outrageous behavior is normal by continuously & openly inundating our children with it but now they in sum & substance are saying that children are not a parent's to bring up but essentially belong to the state. That would have been unfathomable 15 or 20 years ago except to extremists on the left but now it appears to be a widespread belief ever since that politician, who thankfully lost her bid to be president, said: 'children need a village to raise them' (or whatever words she used but that was the drift). Political hacks like her make me truly hope there is a hell and if I wind up therein, I hope to become her (and other leftists) eternal tormentor.

The shining light of hope, that our children will be saved from these evidently very mentally sick types, does exist though. It is in the form of boycotts right now that for the first time in a long time seemingly are being undertaken by millions of fed up Americans and also possibly by millions of others worldwide. They are having a very positive effect but we must keep them going ad infinitum for these companies that support these leftist ideals. The thing is - I think we need to boycott not only products from companies like Bud Lite, as I see it, but we should be boycotting all (as in each and every one) of the products of the entire corporate empire that owns Bud Lite. For me, that goes for other companies too such as: Nike, Kohl's,Target and any other companies or corporate entities that push any form of perversions of nature onto our children and or who also support the state becoming the caretakers of our children while at the same time destroying not only the rights of parents with respect to their children but are obliterating the whole idea of family structure as well while wanting to destroy our Constitutional rights (i.e.: gun control advocates, those who oppose free speech, those who support defunding law enforcement, supporters of over taxation, and so on) while being easy of criminals who commit heinous crimes of various natures.

We can fight back with boycotts that will place a lot of pressure on these companies and will in the end cause them to cease these evident abusive policies by which they target our children, our families, parents and our Constitutional rights. We can do other things also such as: creating political pressure (it takes a few minutes to write a letter or a email - one of either can be copied and mailed to every one of your political representatives in only a few minutes more), take part in individual or group protests such as in schools at PTA & school board meetings, group protests outside of state capitals, marches through your local communities and so on, monetary donations made to politicians & groups that support parental rights and that oppose things like trans-gender brainwashing, voting for candidates who are solidly behind parental rights and who oppose this child targeting insanity. Sitting around doing nothing accomplishes nothing for us or our children and allows the leftists & perverts to advance their sick practices. Do something (anything legal and make sure to keep it legal) to support the cause of sanity in regard to our children, parents, families and rights because if you do nothing the pedophiles. other sickos & leftists will succeed in destroying the United States of America.

All the best,
Glenn B

On Memorial Day - Remember The Reason For It

Y'all have a nice enjoyable weekend. While sun bathing, grilling and boozing though, please remember to say at least one prayer for, or take some time to solemnly think about, those for whom we celebrate Memorial Day - those in our military service who lost their lives defending our Constitution, our nation and her people during war. Never forget their contribution to our nation, in fact to each of us, it was the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇸

One Man's Trash...

...can is another man's treasure nostalgia. I have been watching reruns of American Pickers and am up to Season 22 Episode 2. Mike & Jersey Jon were rummaging around in a 300 year old farm's barn when Mike comes across an old Galvanized steel trash can. He mentions it but does not buy it.

I would have bought it. When I was a kid, and well into my twenties, I used to help take out the trash for my great-grandparents who owned three 6 family apartment houses. My great- grandparents had a live in helper, Franz Weber, who was like family. When they got a bunch of newer light weight cans, they kept one of the old ones. It was very much like if not exactly like the one Mik3jie finds in the barn. That older heavier trash can was a challenge for me to haul up the cellar stairs to put outside within the confines of the front fence & gate. It took a beating over the years but as it was much sturdier than the new ones, it outlasted some of them.

The can on American pickers had me thinking of that ne and that single memory of that one trash can stirred up many other memories of my days as a kid , a teen and a young man all to do with those buildings, Franz and my great-grandparents.

The saying is true: One man's trash can is another man's treasure - or in this case another man's nostalgia.

This Article MUST Be Wrong...

...because it could not possibly be right since Mayorkas and Biden claim the border is secure. So how could someone who is on a terror watch list cross it illegally (more at the source)! Yep, he got caught but he was in country and could have just as likely eluded captute. How many other enemies of the USA have crossed illegally and gotten away!

The Last Time This Happened,...

...the this being one of my firearms auction packages being delayed by USPS, the result was the box mysteriously opened in transit and only the bayonets that were inside of it decided to and were able to make an escape. They just disappeared like magic. The shipment was insured but my son will never see those bayonets he had wanted.

This time around, yes another one has been delayed, the tracking info shows essentially the same as it did for the previous one. It was picked up by USPS in Geneva, NY, made it to a USPS facility in Rochester, NY and seemingly has fallen off the radar since arriving there. Tracking does not show it leaving Rochester yet says it is in transit - again same as last time. That previous parcel's tracking showed that way for days or maybe even a week or more and then miraculously the package was delivered to me light. It was minus the bayonets. This one contains only a shotgun and a revolver; so, if they somehow escape the confines of their cardboard prison, I guess I won't receive a thing as I doubt even USPS would deliver an empty box.

I hope they actually still are in transit and not in some postal employees collection of stolen guns or worse yet that they have been sold to some dirtbag.

Time will tell and the wait will suck until I find out one way or the other.

All the best,
Glenn B

Is This The Most Important Thing At Fox News...

... the vocal cord condition of a country singer, at least as I write this post at 2:10 PM on May 9, 2023? Is it really an article about some country music singer, whom I have never heard about before today, having a problem with his vocal cords and having to lay off his concert tour for 6 weeks! So it seemed as I wrote this post. More at the source. Now, while that is entertainment news, and some folks may be interested in such news, does it truly rate being the top headline on a national news site when there is other much more important news for the nation? Really Fox News - is that the best you can do at finding a newsworthy item to place as your top headline at any given time!!!

Whatever happened to Fox News reporting on really important things (to all Americans as a whole) that concern our nation? Let's face it, as I was writing this, President Trump was reportedly convicted in a civil trial for civil battery (more at the source) and several news agencies reported on it in their headlines - not Fox News, at least not on their main online news page, as I continued to write this at 2:15 PM! So, a country crooner is more important than a former president being convicted in a civil trial! I do not comprehend Fox News' priorities in reporting.

Lately, besides Fox seemingly reporting on things that I think are more befitting a Hollywood rag, I have seen lots of what I think are horrendous grammatical and spelling errors at Fox that someone, like maybe an editor, should have caught before an article containing such errors went to print. Besides misspellings, they often include gender neutral pronouns - whom are they kissing up to? When they talk about one specific person and then start calling that person "they" or "them" it truly is ridiculous in my estimation.

As for spelling & grammatical errors, yea I know, I make plenty of mistakes in my blog posts but here is the deal: I am not a journalist by profession, I am not a professional writer who is receiving pay for what I write (in fact I get zero compensation except maybe self satisfaction and personal enjoyment), I do not have an editor who checks over my posts as an editor at Fox News should be checking the work of his underlings and yet I am willing to bet you'd find a higher rate of errors in Fox News reports than in my blog posts.

Now, I may be wrong about the rate of errors in my stuff as compared to theirs but even if I am incorrect, why are the reports on Fox News.com strewn with errors? I do not recall that being the case a couple or few years back. The truth is, as it seems to me, that Fox News articles appear to be getting dumber and dumber in as much as to content that would better befit the pages of the super liberal Main Stream Media Mud Slinging Media and as far as an apparent lack of editing goes when it comes to the writing skills or lack of such skills among the journalists who write some of their pieces.

Ballseye Remembers When...

Halter tops like this one were worn by almost every gal I knew. That was way back in the 70s. If those gals wore em now, they'd have to be cut a lot lower.

On another note: I could come to like the ATF if they hired a slew of agents like this gal. She could interrogate me for days on end; well at least if I was a much younger man. Sadly, ATF agents (for the vast majority of them) will never be anywhere as pleasant to behold while standing in front of you while armed as she is such.

Ballseye Remembers When...

...you could pic up a case of these at about $65.00 - 75.00 per rifle. Those pictured here are supposedly Hungarian M44 (Model 1944) carbines.

I bought one for myself in 1998, it was a whopping $80.00 including tax. It's the only Mosin Nagant I still own, bought from a guy named Ray at a gun show in NY state. I visited the show with my pal Dom P. and we each got one. As we were walking away, I turned to Dom and told him I was going back to Ray's table. I had decided I was going to buy another. When I got back to Ray I blurted out that it would be a gift for my wife. Ray, the dealer, immediately became paranoid and refused to sell it to me saying that if he did so it would be a straw purchase. Of course, it would not have been one because it would have been a gift to someone who could legally purchase one if she had wanted to do so (it took the ATF many years to get that straightened out among knucklehead dealers who thought otherwise).

I recall they were so inexpensive that a guy from a gun forum in NY bought a case, refinished the wood somewhat, cannot recall if he put legs on it but do know he took off the lid covered, the guns inside the case with glass and his wife was happy with the new coffee table (imagine that). I also remember the feeling I got when I first realized they would have evolved from mere steel & wood into a small gold mine had I picked up a case or three. I still; get that same exact feeling today many years later - it feels like a good swift kick in the jewels!

Oh well, live and hopefully learn: The time and place to buy it is when you see it and he who hesitates on such a deal is a schmuck!  I've been there and I've been one of those in the case of these and some other firearms deals I should have picked up on. I should have known better too because of some advice I'd gotten from a Jewish butcher in Brooklyn who had fresh chickens on sale. His exact words were: "Such a deal - don't be a schmuck - buy two". Had I applied it to a couple of cases of M44s and held onto them until today, I'd be able to put a down payment on a car or buy more guns.

Placed A Few Bids At An Online Gun Auction Yesterday

These are the items on which I placed the high bids:

Glock Model 41 GEN 4 - 45 AUTO

1682307478766.png

1682307268720.png

1682307302389.png

Ruger New Model Single-Six Convertible Stainless

1682307352743.png

1682307392529.png

1682307422653.png

If the Ruger is as nice looking close up in my hands as it looks in the pics, I may have to sell my blued version of the same model.

Savage/Stevens Model 94C Hammered - 12 Gauge

1682307166758.png

1682307189180.png

This one may or may not become a project gun. I may reblue it, do new case color, refinish the wood. Not sure about that yet though.

Other Items:

As if those did not cost enough, I also had the high bids on another 18 lots of gun related and non-gun related lots such as:

Four boxes of Hornady .376 Steyr 270-grain SP-RP Interlock ammo, a spam can of 7.62x39mm ammo, several mags, several gun books, a Bianchi holster, a Lansky sharpening kit with three knives including a Camillus military folder, a Speer bullet board (always wanted one but damn they go for lots of money), several other knives, an axe, a cleaver, Fredrick Remington's 'Buckskins - Portraits of the Old West' consisting of eight portraits in a folder, a Victorian reverse painting on glass of a winter scene in gold frame - frame size: approx. 25" x 29" . I've been watching too much of Antiques Road show (actually my son had me bid on that one but I would have bid on it if he did not - a man has to dream of striking it rich on a find like this one - who knows).

I saved what may be the best (other than the guns and maybe even better than them) for last and if it was actually taken from the ship it is golden even though it looks to be made of brass.

1682308732941.png

I did a Google search of the ship and found it was named after Lt. John Trippe from the early 1800s. His story is a very interesting one, there is an article about him at Wikipedia; the shame of it all is the ironic way he died after having been a valiant warrior & leader in several battles and being wounded in at least one of them while serving in the U.S. Navy. His heroics evidently impressed the U.S. Navy so much that so far - four ships have been named after him!

This is the one relative to the plaque:

1682309635922.png

It was an expensive day for me and my son yesterday as I placed bids on many of the items for him. We dropped well over a grand each with the old man outspending the young one by a couple or few hundred. It's an addiction I can live with and enjoy.

Transvestites, Transsexuals, Transgenders - Pretenders All & Nothing More

The lyrics of this song, one of my all time favorites by the way, in my view pretty much hit the nail on the head when it comes to men supposedly becoming women and women supposedly becoming men even though it was an inadvertent connection; I am certain the Platters never even dreamed of it doing so.

Sex change, for humans, is complete and absolute bullshit. It is nothing more or less than people trying to become something they are not and never will become, that despite many of them having themselves physically mutilated by doctors who are, in my opinion, no more than sicko quacks. In my estimation, it happens because they are mentally ill and unable to cope with the world and any issues they face and they have a morbid need to have it their way no matter how unnatural. I think they are hiding from their problems, their inability to cope normally, and their failure to accept the most basic principles of self responsibility by pretending to be that which they are not - not even for a second. As I see it, that goes for the mentally ill who choose to do so to themselves and for the quacks who: encourage them to undergo such procedures against nature, perform the operations, dole out hormone therapy and whatever else they do to the poor victims who try to change their sex by way of becoming nothing more than grotesque pretenders.

Among humankind, no male is a female and no female is a male and yes there are the very few seemingly born into both sexes known as hermaphrodites but even they, for the most part, turn out to develop as one or the other and accept themselves for what they are and many supposedly accept that with which they were endowed by nature. Now some may have an operation to enhance or remove genitalia but only in as much as they developed into one sex or the other as I understand.

It truly is a sad state of affairs that some leftist loonies actually believe that an actual change of sex can occur and a so called transgender man can give birth to a baby but such have many of the people of our country (and many others) become the epitome of Bizarro World.

If I Lived In A Chaotic City Like Chicago...

...or Portland (OR), Seattle, Los Angeles, San Fransicko Francisco, New York, Philadelphia or many others, I am of the opinion that would arm myself whether or not it was legal for me to do so. I say that because of violence like that reported on in this linked article and because I value my life and the lives of other innocent folks who wind up being victims because they could not defend themselves successfully against such barbarians. If the law was to say I cannot arm myself to defend myself or others from such violent scum, I would strongly consider violating that law. When these thugs are attacking you and you are in fear of death or serious bodily injury,I am of the belief that you should be ready, willing and ABLE to fight back. Sure, it would be better to avoid conflict but when it is all around you and attacking you - then you should fight back as I see it. Stopping them is the goal but if you kill one or more of them while trying to stop them in order to protect yourself & other innocents - from serious bodily harm or death - tough noogies for them. What they need, it seems to me, is instant justice by way of armed self-defense meted out by the attacked victim(s). I am not condoning illegal behavior, just considering I might do it if I lived in places like those mentioned and am most assuredly supporting the concept of a natural right, that of self defense in order for the targets of such attacks to remain alive, hale and injury free.

By the way, look at the video & photos in the article. Were they purposefully chosen to be included because for the most part they show the sides & backs of the rioters, very few are seen from the front. Really, do it, look at those photos & the video carefully. How many different racial groups of apparent troublemakers do you see in them? I see 4 or 5 individuals (other than law enforcement), who are evidently walking in the opposite direction of the mob who seemingly are not of the same race or ethnicity as all (or at least the great majority) of the rioters. I am not being racist, I am stating a fact as I see it. It kind of, sort of really dismays me that there is not a clear picture of the group from an angle that would allow the viewer to see the faces of most of them and I wonder if that was purposeful on the part of the main stream mud slinging media. My bet would be: Yes, it was just that - done purposefully.

Promise To Be Back Soon - or - Am Back As Of Now

Between the laptop going kerflooey; me feeling not so well on and off, my income tax returns (that I was finished with about two weeks ago, then had to redo all over again because Tax Act had them do a disappearing act & could not retrieve my returns), then when redoing them to find out there were a few mistakes that even the so called Tax Act experts could not figure out (but with their assistance going over the forms on my NY & AR state returns, I luckily & happily figured out more or less myself because while they helped reviewing them they did not have a clue how to fix them but steered me in the right direction to see the errors I had made); the dismal news on how China is close to starting WW III after Biden has totally screwed up our National Security (probably because they have the goods on him relative to corruption on his part); what with Biden cutting oil production, pushing for electric vehicles, ovens & such while depleting the Strategic Oil Reserves of the United States (which were supposedly only to be used strategically as the name implies - like during time of war); all this transgender bullshit of people who are in essence spoiled rotten brats wanting to be what they want to be - even though impossible such as a man becoming woman - just because they want to be it and screw the rest of us who are normal folks satisfied more or less with what we are endowed by nature; the cancel culture mentality of the leftists; the anti-Constitutional behavior of several states and of the federal government; the border crisis destroying the sovereignty of the USA; those on the right giving in relative to almost everything that the leftists demand no matter how crazy; and all the other crap in the news that is making me sick - I have not had the incentive to blog about anything.

Well, the taxes are done (getting a refund of substantial amount even after my wife gets her 40% of it), they all have been sent in and at least the federal & NY forms accepted. Time will tell for AR because I was required to mail them to AR in paper format - totally ridiculous I could not submit them electronically as like the others just because I need not pay any tax in AR due to a certain exemption. Anyway completing the taxes has been a big relief.

The laptop is working more or less okay but not at 100% so it still needs a bit of a fix but that can wait. I am coping with all the other stinking shit stuff a bit better and decided that not writing about it or anything is not the key of how to handle it at least for me.

So, hi-ho, hi-ho it's off to blog I soon will go. In fact, I guess I just started over again.

All the best and thanks for standing by,
Glenn B

A Scary Evening It Was Tonight...

...not on my account but because my son sent me a text message telling me he was heading home from work to grab the dog and get into the closet once he got there. In other words, there was a tornado alert for where he lives in AR. He saw some devastation on his way home: a park with a trench tore through it and trees torn in half. Later he saw some buildings/homes that had been destroyed as I understand it. He sent a photo of several hones that had been destroyed, an aerial shot so not one he took but probably from a new article.

Little Rock, AR, West Little Rock and apparently parts of  North Little Rock and Sherwood were hit. Some were hit, very hard in some places. Brendan, his girlfriend Nikki and their dog Chubbs came through it alright; although he said when he got home Chubbs was terrified. Brendan's house, as far as he can tell as of now, is okay. The morning may shed new light on any possible damage to the house that may have been done that he did not see yet this evening.

Yes, it was scary waiting to hear that they came through it alright, especially after the tornadoes of a few days ago that devastated other areas. I told him it is time to look for a job in AZ or SD and that probably is not a bad idea to carry through on; although, I am none to sure as to whether or not SD is tornado prone but am pretty sure they are at least very rare in AZ.

So, as it turns out, the visit I expected him to make to my place tonight is out. He may come by tomorrow if the roads are open. I hope so, I could use his help at the gun show I will be attending and some help after the gun show to drink down a few HB weisse biers and some Jagermeister I bought just for us this weekend.

I am not much the praying type but am praying for the folks in the hit areas.

All the best,
Glenn B

PS: Yes, the cumpewder is still not 100% right so more blogging may be scant through midweek of the coming week.

50K Dead - Damn!

The death toll in both Turkey & Syria has reached 50 thousand. According to an article at Reuters, there were over 160 thousand buildings that were destroyed and 520,000 apartments. Some arrests, less than 200, have been made to date of people suspected in some way of being responsible for the structural collapses. (More at the source.) I think it will be a miracle if the death toll does not at least double with that many apartments involved.

If folks had heard trumpets before the quake, many would be preparing for the Apocalypse or swearing it was here already. As it is, the Apocalypse commencing or purely a destructive force of Nature, of course, it is terrible nonetheless.

I do not do this often but as I did in my previous post on this quake, I urge folks to be charitable toward earthquake relief for this one.

Just Made The Switch...

...to Windows 11. I hope that was not a mistake. There were a few minor things different that I noticed right away once I signed onto it, such as the Task Bar being centered at the bottom of the screen and there were some icons on it that I felt absolutely, positively, definitely had to be removed that MS added to it. That all took me a few minutes to figure out how to adjust or remove and now at least the Desktop is to my liking more or less.

I was not going to change over but yesterday my Norton VPN stopped working on Windows 10 for some reason. I tried a lot of things to get it to work again such as removing & reloading it, removing & reloading the entire Norton installation, restoring the system files & settings (actually trying that three time because it never took, and then finally installing Windows 11. Now that it's done, the upgrade to Windows 11 seems to have fixed what issue was at play with my Norton VPN.

What I guess was nice, as opposed to an old Windows upgrade I got on another laptop years ago, this one upgraded from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro. That other time, it went from Windows Pro to the regular version of the model of Windows. I guess Microsoft just decided to screw people made an unintended error back then. Now at least, I have the Pro version (for whatever difference I wanted it for in the first place - which I cannot think of right now but I recall I wanted the Pro version when I bought this machine).

I hope they have all of the glitches out or at least all the known ones to date. The download and info I saw on it did not say if it was a beta version so I guess it is the finished product, that is until they change it.

All the best,
Glenn B
