So the Swedes reportedly have gone berserk buying everything imaginable, to make preparations for war, clearing the shelves in some stores. Sounds like the bread, eggs and milk buyers here at home when a snowstorm or hurricane is approaching. I think everyone should have a decent level of preparedness meaning at least a months supply of food and water (or water filters). I have my own, and a bunch for my dog (time to get more canned and dry foods for her), I don't really know how long it could last us but I figure at the very least a month - probably a good deal longer like two or three. Of course, I also have some medical supplies, probably not near enough of them but some. In addition I have personal protective gear like gas masks & filters (20 year expiration masks are my latest), full body protective suits, gloves. Then there is the other stuff like: compasses, batteries, candles, plenty of matches, fire-starters, water purification straws, tools, knives, guns & ammo, gun maintenance supplies, gold & silver bullion, a grab & go bag in the event I've gotta get out of here fast, and so on.
I never wanted to be a boy scout, especially after getting kicked out of Cub Scouts (bit of a problem child was I) but I have almost always liked their motto: "Be prepared".
There is wisdom in those two words - lots of it. What they do not mention is that the time to prepare usually is long before you need the things that are necessary to achieve being prepared.

The question being does the Swedish Sec Def know something we don't.
I think it has to do with threats from Russia should Sweden join NATO and Sweden's confirmation as a NATO member seems imminent.

brandon et al are supposedly making final plans to strike china. yes, china. we need to hit iran and/or yemen but they get paid to ignore that problem. meanwhile we were completely defenseless for about a week since the secdef didn't pass the launch keys over to the deputy nor inform brandon. so yeah, prepare for war. i don't however believe russia will attack sweden. just propaganda to gain support for joining nato. many swedes didn't agree with the move. but still, stack it high bro.
How about this. Don't want no war, don't start no war. Sweden, Norway and Finland all joining NATO is a signal to militarize a huge swath of border with Russia. They created two new Armies just to face the coming war.
What war? NATO is a offensive military alliance. Under the complete control of the American war machine. They just agreed to buy and place American hardware. The only threat is the US need to destroy European commercial relations with Russia so that the EU has to buy our junk and energy. The second is Russia is the richest country in terms of natural resources. Our empire runs on rape and pillage the same as Rome. When you run out of places to pillage (or children to rape) your empire is over.
The neo-cons need the wealth of Russia to find the continuation of our empire, especially to find war against China.
Instead of leftist communist supporting rhetoric, how about you tell me the last war NATO actually started but better yet name a few of them being you call NATO IS "an offensive military alliance". No one has created a new army, both the Swedes and Fnns have had establ¹ished armies for many years. For instance the Swedish armed force have been in existence for over 500 years. The Finnish Defense Forces was formed over 100 years ago. The main agressor nations in recent history have been Russia, Red China, North Korea, Iran and their allies. As for the USA running on rape and pillage that is under democrats who refuse to allow expanded oil production, coal and natural gas at home and in fact are trying to shut them down. Under the former president we were energy independent. Get your facts straight.
