It Goes Right Along With Everything TSA Doesn't Know

Really, it should not surprise anyone that TSA is pretty much clueless about anything that has to do with transportation security because after all, it all too often appears that: they don't know how to select folks for pat-downs or more invasive searches based upon a hunch, let alone based upon reasonable suspicion; they don't know a thing about how to perform their duties consistently with all due courtesy and respect toward air passengers; they don't know how to properly handle situations with uncooperative passengers without inflaming the situations; they seemingly don't know how to properly train their own staff and what have you.

So, when it was recently reported that they have little to no idea as to whether or not their bomb detection equipment is functioning properly or even working at all - why would it surprise anyone! More here.
