...not to Oz to see the wizard but to a better place - Deadwood, SD. The we being my son Brendan and I and we are looking forward to some fun for about 5 days in that mecca of the wild west. Of course, a visit to Mt. Rushmore is in order as well, maybe to a casino too.

Visited the area about 30 years ago. Did not realize that Sturgis festivities were about to start in a couple of days. Motorcycles everywhere getting an early start. Glad we weren't a day or two later. Mt. Rushmore is really quite an accomplishment. Glad I got to see it in person.
