A guy allegedly used a company issued credit card, from the company for which he worked, to make unauthorized purchases of over 31K worth of scratch off lottery tickets. He admited to his boss he had done so according to this source report.
As the post title says, ballsy but stupid.

they rode my ass about the use of my govt credit card.i had to justify every cent. meanwhile a gs15 got caught buying a huge boat and breast implants for his mistress with an agency card. i went to hand it in after that but finance told me they wouldn't reimburse my expenses unless i used the card. they got kickbacks based on usage.
