One has to remember that Schumer said this in 2020.
"I want to tell you, [Justice] Gorsuch, I want to tell you, [Justice] Kavanaugh: You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price, You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions."
Why Schumer was not arrested, charged with and found guilty of sedition or at least of making terroristic threats is beyond me.

At least the attempt was not successful.
I am quite happy that the guy decided not to go through with it and contacted authorities about his plans. I guess he figured he liked living more than he wanted to kill someone else and then either commit suicide or be killed by law enforcement officers.
the would-be shooter said he wasn't "feeling well". mk ultra drugs maybe? i wonder what he was going to do with the nail punch though. i smell a deep state plot.
He certainly had felt well enough to have geared up for a killing.

Padded boot bottoms! Various tools & implements to effect a break-in, duct tape to subdue his target maybe, a gun & ammo to do the killing and so on. Lucky for SCJ Kavanaugh and for the rest of America that he did not feel up to doing it and turned himself in. Yes he had definitely planned this out somewhat well. Thank goodness his conscience or whatever it was prevailed and he called himself in to get help.
As for the nail punch, my guess is it with the hammer might assist in defeating a door lock to facilitate a break in but who knows what went through this guys mind. Maybe fried on drugs, maybe a looney, or maybe just trying to set up an insanity defense based on his statements in his confession.
One can only hope all the judges, well at least certain ones, arm themselves for self defense.
yeah i'd think every judge would have armed up the day they took the bench. i actually feel for this guy. obviously mentally ill, realized his mistake and reached out for help, now he's gonna get hammered by the "justice system" and get more time than if he had shot somebody.
