That was including 4 who were killed but the number of those shot as stated in the first sentence of the article does not add up to 46:"46 shot, 4 fatally, in Chicago weekend shootings"(Source.)
"Four people were killed and 41 others were wounded in shootings across Chicago so far over the first weekend of May."Seems to me the numbers in that first sentence add up to 45 not 46. Close but no cigar!

If any of the deceased test positive for COVID-19 they quite possibly will be listed in that category and not in the gunfire tally.
