I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving and that your day is filled with family, fine food, and excellent spirits. Don't forget to give thanks for what you have.
I have plenty for which to be thankful, today and every day: My family, friends, my readers, my job, good health (much better than last year anyway), a home that was not ravaged too badly by the storm (as of yesterday, over $11,000 worth of damage, just to the roof and gutters, that we know about so far, and some other minor damage to our property but far better than losing our house or our lives) and that I have off until Tuesday so will probably get in some hunting tomorrow or Saturday! There is a good dinner cooking in the oven, my chores are done for the day and I am finally eating breakfast - 2 slices of pepperoni pizza reheated in the microwave (the turkey is in the oven) and I am enjoying a very early bier. Life is good when you can enjoy living it - for that I am very thankful.
I am also thankful for that which I do not have - cancer. It has been over one year now, as of November 9, 2011, since treatments stopped.
All the best,
Glenn B
