I do not normally put much thought to New Year's resolutions but this year is a bit different. I have some failings I will be working on, hopefully to make myself a better husband, father and all round person. One thing I plan to do is to lose about 20 to 30 pounds. I have already started a diet, I cheated and started it last week. Exercise on a regular basis has already begun too, lightly at first but I imagine it will increase in frequency and in diffuiculty.
The rest are resolutions concerning personal failings, skeleton in the closet type things, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde type things you could say (no violence though) so I will not go into them in detail here. I will say that I will be starting on improving with regard to them today, right now. A bit late already being on the third day of the New Year but I suppose there is no time like the present to get things done and since the present keeps ever marching on into the future I plan to stick with my resolutions for the whole year and onward.
