...if held near to my home would have been the one that offered $500 for any working firearm! Yeah, you read that right. Thing was, I would have had to camp out to hold an early spot on the line because the arsehats who ran it ran out of money. A lot more here at the source Lagniappe's Lair.
Man, I can think of at least four guns I own that I would have gladly sold for that much. Heck, I would have happily split the cash with whomever waited on line with me and still would have made out like a very successful bandit.

Wow! I would have taken my Sterling .380 ACP and an old, falling apart H&R .32 S&W that someone gave to me. $1000.00 for two guns that are pretty much worth nothing..........
I have an old .380 ACP that I dropped in the salt water when I lived on a boat in Florida. I got the gun out of the drink (shallow water) and I stripped and cleaned it, but it was too late. The rust had set in.
I keep hoping to be near a buyback. Even if they gave by 50 bucks, I would be ahead. (Right now, it is just a paperweight.)
