Last night, at the 2nd debate against Mitt Romney, the Obamessiah said he would try to reimplement the Assault Weapons Ban AND also said he would look into sources of other violence after saying his hometown of Chicago is plagued with violence by criminals using cheap handguns.
"But I also share your belief that weapons that were designed for soldiers in war theaters don’t belong on our streets. And so what I’m trying to do is to get a broader conversation about how do we reduce the violence generally. Part of it is seeing if we can get an assault weapons ban reintroduced. But part of it is also looking at other sources of the violence. Because frankly, in my home town of Chicago, there’s an awful lot of violence and they’re not using AK-47s. Folks, it is plain to me and should be to you - he has just declared war on supporters of the 2nd Amendment and has said it pretty plainly that he is against weapons from those manufactured for the military to inexpensive handguns. That could cover almost all of them out there when you give it some thought. It sure as heck covers a huge number of firearms now legally owned by citizens and legal resident aliens within the USA. If you vote for this guy Obama and not for Mitt Romney, I think you may as well consider yourself a traitor to our rights as Americans. I almost certainly would think of you that way!
