Yesterday, Donald trump announced that he will nominate Marine General James Mattis (Ret.) as secretary of defense (source). Make sure to watch the video that goes with the source article to see to which WWII general Trump compares Mattis. (Hint, there was a movie, about the WWII general, with George C. Scott in the lead role.)
I suppose if Mattis is like that WWII general and if the nomination goes through, we will have a truly qualified military man as Secretary ofWar Defense. I think that will be much better than emasculating our military command in the manner of Obama.
