Put An Ale In The Freezer About An Hour Ago...

...and forgot all about it until a few seconds ago. Luckily the ale did not freeze and thus the bottle did not crack. I just pried off the cap and am now enjoying one of the coldest beers I have had in a long time. It's a Kirkland (Costco store brand) Amber Ale and I have to say, it is delicious.

A Tortoise Older Than Methuselah

Older Than Methuselah, I mean that figuratively because I cannot remember how old Methuselah was supposed to have been. 

Jonathan, possibly the world's oldest currently living land animal,
certainly has the look of holding the wisdom of the ages within himself.

Anyway, that is how old a tortoise supposedly can get. At an estimated 182 years old, Jonathan - a Seychelles Tortoise, is pretty well aged, more so than the best cheese, wine, whiskey or ham that have ever passed my lips (not that I want to eat tortoise any time soon). In fact, he may be the longest lived land animal currently alive. Check it out here:
