With the price of gasoline approaching $4.00 a gallon, even surpassing it already in some places (I paid $3.90 per gallon tonight but passed a palce where it was over $4.00) one has to wonder:
Are the prices of just about everything to go up again because shipping companies will raise prices due to increased gasoline expenses?
It happened last time gasoline prices were this high, so I imagine it could easily happen again. The thing about it this time is that after the last price increases, the prices did not fall proportionately when fuel prices fell. So, they are already getting more than they should be for most things. While that may keep prices down for a bit, if gas remains this high for more than a few weeks, my bet is that prices will skyrocket on everything from bacon to bullets. Thanks for all the hope and change!
Might I recommend - buy ammo and other bulk commodities now.
All the best,
