Thanks in advance for any help.
Never mind, I found out myself, and I was very surprised at how easy it was to do. Of course it backed up text and no photos, but that is okay by me for now, although I would like to figure out how to back up those photos along with the text all as one integral blog file.
All the best,

A year or so ago, I began writing my post in microsoft word. You can insert photos and links. Then I copy and paste. Of course now I have had so much problem with blogger I wonder why I use them anymore.
~sometimes when I have a few tabs up, or to copy and paste and I leave the compose page all is gone. Or perhaps you have seen when I can only type in the title section.
I did open wordpress accounts for both blogs, but I am unable to figure out how to insert a photo in the post which is why I haven't left blogger completely.
different note~ my oldest is in advanced training at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in MD...is that close to you guys?

Blogger is fine by me. If I was more computer literate I would try my own blog hosted by someone else with my own site name.
As for your son in MD, that is not all that close, my guess is about 185 miles from here according to map quest. To bad I did not get the temporary assignment in DC, I could have visited him.
All the best,
GB
Oh...I thought that you may be closer. As to my own blog, wordpress has that as an option keeping the material and site stuff.
Btw- Bill and the guys are heading to MD in May for little Bill's graduation and thought that Bill and sons could meet the Ballseye Boomer in person, of course if the economy tanks(to something even more shocking then they won't)
Have a great week...as I am sure next year today will not be known as President's Day, but President(loud awes) Day...in honor of Obama.

Can you share your information? I need to do it as well and have not a clue!
Go to settings, and near the top click on export blog, then click download. It saved the file as a temporary internet file on my disk, and maybe somewhere else too but I could not find i. So I opened the temporary internet file, then saved it again where I wanted it saved permanantly.
