True Heroes - A Prime Example: Jim Corbett

Jim Corbett with the slain
Bachelor of Powalgarh.
Jim Corbet - a man to be emulated; he was a man among man-eaters! He should be the type of man that youngsters, today, call hero instead of the drugged out movie stars and steroid pumped up athletes whom they tend to choose all to often. His book, 'Man-Eaters of Kumaon', is my favorite work of non-fiction. Coincidentally, he passed away April 19th, the same date I was married (of course, not in the same year, but oddly enough in the year of my birth). Read up on him here:

I strongly recommend reading Man-Eaters of Kumaon if you are interested in tigers and other big cats, hunting, India, conservation or merely historical figures.

All the best,
Glenn B

PS: Yes I still have the laptop, hope to send it out to HP by FedEx tomorrow.
